Bergkranc Hotel & Resort has opened its doors for the first guests on September 30th 2018.
Our guests had the opportunity to relax in the individually designed apartments which offer both modern and traditional elements.
In the evening the very first Bergkranc liquor tasting was organized together with traditional Balkan food in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Our guests enjoyed our 100% handcrafted Bergkranc liquor which is entirely made in-house. We are very proud and happy that our first two flavors “peaceful apples” and “powerful plums” received such a great positive response from our guests.
A great party is nothing without great music. A professional live band from Serbia was booked, the so-called “tamburasi”, so good vibes guaranteed. Everybody just loved it. You can check out a short clip of the opening party on our youtube channel.
The Bergkranc Hotel & Resort organized a 3 day tour starting with a hike to the top of Jahorina Mountains followed by a pretty intense quad tour over the mountain plateau. Blessed with perfect weather and sunshine, everybody was able to take amazing shouts of Bosnia’s beautiful raw nature.
The next stop was Sarajevo downtown, where people get a taste of the best cevapcici there is. In Sarajevo, where orient meets occident, our guests experienced a cultural mix of oriental architecture and food in Sarajevo’s old town Bascarsija and the modern nightlife in several clubs and bars.
The final station was a guided tour through Orlovaca cave. It is a 15 min drive away from Bergkranc Hotel. As food is king in Bosnia, we closed our 3 day tour by visiting a small fish restaurant at a river’s source in Pale. Guests are able to pick their own fish out of big water pools. That is maximum freshness.
